Associate Pastor of Family Ministries – Saluda SC
Saluda Baptist Church is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team full-time as an Associate Pastor of Family Ministries. This position presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of families within our community.
Responsibilities: Develop and provide leadership for a strategic, Bible-based plan for all generations of family ministry.
- Collaborate with the lead pastor and ministry team to develop and implement a comprehensive family ministry program.
- Provide pastoral care, counseling and support to families, individuals, and children within the church community.
- Oversee and coordinate various family-oriented activities, events, and programs to foster spiritual growth and fellowship among families.
- Recruit, train and equip volunteers to serve in various family ministry roles.
- Develop and deliver relevant, engaging and biblically based teachings and sermons for families and children.
- Work closely with parents, providing resources and guidance to help them effectively disciple their children at home.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that embraces families of all backgrounds and stages of life.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year ministry college or university or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in local church leadership, preferably in a family focused role and a strong understanding of Southern Baptist values and practices.
- Passion for family discipleship and the ability to inspire and equip families to grow in their faith.
